| DCA-VET, Dutch Committee for Afghanistan – Veterinary Programmes, is a non-governmental organization helping to rebuild Afghanistan. Being a veterinary oriented organization, DCA-VET commits itself to improve the health and productivity of the Afghan livestock. With its activities, DCA-VET is reaching a large part of the people in Afghanistan, since about 80% of them are more or less dependent on livestock. Since its foundation in 1994, DCA-VET and similar organizations strive to build up a nation-wide system of private veterinary field units. Our ultimate aim is that all livestock owners in Afghanistan have easy access to high quality veterinary care for their animals. |
